Pro-Grade Style 5000C & 5000CC
Braided from pure expanded flexible graphite, 5000C has reinforced carbon corners and 5000CC has a carbon core. This packing has superior leakage control in valves and pumps. This self-lubricating packing will eliminate stem or shaft scoring, eliminates pump leakage and is virtually leak free in valves. This packing forms a homogeneous mass under gland pressure, so leakage cannot penetrate it.
Flexible graphite packings feature a low coefficient of friction, has excellent heat transfer properties and chemical resistance. In high speed pumps, PG5000C & CC dissipates the heat effectively.
Designed for service from 0-14 pH, petrochemicals, hydrocarbons, corrosives in refineries, power plants, pulp and paper mills.
Excellent multi-purpose pump and valve packing.
