Pro-Grade Style 8000G
Pure graphite yarns are impregnated with a proprietary blocking agent. High
quality graphite lubricant is added. PG8000G is a severe service packing that is
ideal for the most difficult handling applications in the chemical,
petrochemical and related industries. It is impervious to the most destructive
acids, corrosives, alkalies and caustic solutions and will withstand extreme
temperatures up to 2500oF in the stuffing box.
For use in pumps and valves for extreme temperature or aggressive chemical applications with high shaft speeds up to 4000FPM. For severe services including the most difficult to handle fluids and where leakage must be held to a bare minimum. For use in centrifugal, reciprocating and rotary pumps, boiler feed pumps, mixers, agitators, dryers and blowers, and for valve stems.
